Post High School Planning

GHS students are encouraged to research a wide variety of options when considering their post high school experience, including 2 and 4 year college, trade school, apprenticeships and other career options.  Students and families will work closely with their house-based school counselor to navigate this process.   Students and families should contact their house-based school counselor if they have questions during the process.

In addition, the GHS College and Career Center can provide students with a wealth of information about all of their post high school options.

  • The College and Career Update, contains information about college admissions representative and military recruiter visits, college information sessions and open houses, scholarships, GHS School Counseling Department announcements and other important information.
  • The School Counseling Department also plans and delivers annual "College Panels" to provide useful information and help students and parents with quality decision making.  Please see recordings in our of College and Career Informational Videos
  • In addition, families may want to consider attending our annual College Night.
