Program Overview:

The focus of Family and Consumer Sciences is the individual in all of his or her forms. Course content ranges from nutrition and food service, through human development and parenting, to financial management and consumer skills for the 21st century. Some courses offer students the opportunity to begin training for careers in the growing food service industry, fashion industry or childcare. Exploratory career units are presented in many other areas including child care and interior design.
