Rugby - Girls

Program Overview:

The Greenwich High School Girls Varsity Rugby Program competed in its inaugural season in Spring of 2019 with approximately fifty players on our roster.  Our mission is to teach the game of rugby to our players in an inclusive, fun, positive environment.  At the same time, we hold our players to the highest standards and we expect to compete at the highest level possible.

All are welcome and no experience is necessary.  We do not make cuts.  Twenty three players are selected for the game day roster for league matches.  Selections will be made based on attendance, work ethic, attitude, fitness level, and skill.  Developmental matches will be built into the schedule, as well, to provide newer players an opportunity to play when ready to get out on the pitch.
