Basketball - Boys

Program Mission:

To build a winning and respected basketball program at Greenwich High school and in the Greenwich community built on the character of the student – athlete. Character defined as student – athletes that respect the game of basketball, honor their commitments in the classroom, properly represent the Greenwich community and understand the principles of wearing a Greenwich uniform and hold this honor in the highest regard.

To create a basketball environment in the entire Greenwich community with the fundamental purpose and ideology that the commitment to hard work and discipline will lead to an excellent high school basketball experience to be continued for years to come.

To create a basketball program for Greenwich High School and the Greenwich community that’s core goal is to foster student-athletes that are defined by their academic production, their High School community involvement, their sportsmanship, and their overall hard work ethic on and off the court to best prepare them for life after High School.

To create a basketball program in which a successful season will be defined by a positive team experience on and off the court for ALL involved.

To create a Greenwich High School basketball legacy in which it is understood by the Greenwich community and the FCIAC community that the Greenwich High school basketball players are held to highest possible student-athlete standards and that we as teachers and developers of men get the most out of their players both on the court and in the classroom.
