Ice Hockey - Girls
Program Overview:
The GHS Girls Hockey program consists of two teams, Varsity and Junior Varsity. The Varsity team plays a competitive 20 game regular schedule in the FCIAC and against top-ranked teams throughout the state. The Varsity team also competes in a postseason FCIAC and State Tournament. The Junior Varsity team plays an 8-10 game schedule. The aim is to develop players for the Varsity team and get game experience. Our home rink is Dorothy Hamill Rink.
Time Commitment:
Practice and game times vary greatly. They can be held right after school at 4:00pm or late at night. There are weekend practices and games as well as commitments over both Christmas and February break. Time management regarding schoolwork is a must.
Tryout Information:
Every player must be registered on the Greenwich High School Athletics website and have an up to date physical. Tryouts for the 2021-2022 season are TBD.
