School Photos

School photos for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students will be taken September 2 - 5, 2025 in the GHS Student Center.

9th and 10th grade students will have their pictures taken during English class.
11th grade students will have their pictures taken during social studies class.
ELL students will have theirs taken during ELL class.

You should receive an email from your child's teacher to let you know what day your child will be getting his/her photo taken.  If you do not hear from them by August 30th, please email the teacher directly.

If your child is absent on photo day or is an 11th grader who does not take social studies, they may go to the photographer's area in the student center to have their photo taken at any time over those 4 days.  School photo makeup/retake day will be in November.  Information for that will be sent out at a later date.

How to Order the School Photo:

If you have not yet ordered your child's school photo, you may do so using the information found on your child's photo proof. 

If it has not been picked up yet, your child may go to Student Activities to get it. 

Class of 2026 

Below are the steps to having your senior portrait taken and then having your senior portrait in the yearbook.

1) Have your senior portrait taken.

2) Allow approximately 3 weeks for the proofs to be uploaded to the photographers website

3) Look at the proofs online and either

• select one for the yearbook OR
• have your photos retaken if you don't like them and then select one for the yearbook

All yearbook photos must be selected by November 1st. 

I know it seems as though November 1st is a long time away and you have plenty of time but please read the specifics below.  

Greenwich High School uses Robert Taylor Photography for our yearbook photos. 

Seniors have two options on where and when to have their senior portraits taken. 

OPTION 1 - Have your portraits taken in Greenwich

In Lower Cantor classroom. Please park on Hillside.  

• Monday, July 21 - 3:00 - 7:00 pm 
• Tuesday, July 22 - 9:00 am - 1:00 pm 
• Monday, August 4 - 3:00 - 7:00 pm
• Tuesday, August 5  - 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
• Wednesday, August 6  - 3:00 - 7:00 pm
• Thursday, August 7 - 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

In the Galleria (hallway outside PAC). Enter through the PAC doors in the rear parking lot.

• Monday, August 25 - 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
• Tuesday, August 26 - 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
• Wednesday, August 27  - 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
• Saturday, September 6 - 9:30 am - 1:00 pm
• Tuesday, September 9 - 2:30 pm - 7:00 pm. **THIS IS THE LAST DAY THE PHOTOGRAPHER WILL BE AT GHS FOR SENIOR PORTRAITS UNTIL RETAKE DAY.  You CANNOT have your picture taken for the first time on retake day. 

OPTION 2 - Go to Robert Taylor's studio over the summer or in September to have your portraits taken. Call 203-377-0739 to make an appointment.   60 Access Rd D, Stratford, CT 06615

SITTING FEE:

One picture taken - No fee. The photographer will take one picture and this is the picture that will be used in the yearbook.  In order to efficiently schedule the portraits, these will only be offered on:

• Wednesday, August 27
• Saturday, September 6
• Tuesday, September 9.  

Make sure to select the 2nd tab (Free one pose only) on Sign Up Genius when signing up for this option.

Multiple pictures taken - The cost of the sitting fee is $35.  This fee allows for multiple pictures to be taken and gives you the opportunity for you to select your portrait for the yearbook. 

SITTING FEE:

• June 12-July 31 - $25
• Aug 1-31 - $35
• Sept 1-Oct 31 - $45

Robert Taylor will be back at GHS in October for retakes.  If you had your original portraits taken at GHS or at the studio in Stratford you may have your picture retaken at GHS.  If your photo is retaken on this day it will be available online at the end of October. You will then need to choose your photo by Nov. 1st.

This date is for RETAKES ONLY!  

• Please make sure you read all the information before signing up. 

• Fall athletes: When selecting your portrait time, don't forget about your sports schedule. Check your practice and game times carefully. You might need to sign up for an earlier slot to avoid conflicts with your athletic commitments once school begins.

• Make sure when you sign up, the student’s name is used, not the parent/guardian.

• Please select your appointment carefully. If you absolutely need to cancel/change your appointment email smile@roberttaylorphotography.com or call at 203-377-0739 (1 free cancel/change; additional changes will require another payment).  The office is closed on Monday's.

FAQ's: 

Question - I am away all summer. May I get my picture taken in September at the studio in Stratford?

Answer: Yes you may. The latest recommended time to have your portraits taken is September 13th just in case you need retakes done.  Anyone photographed after that would not have enough time to have the portrait taken, view the proofs 3 weeks later, schedule retakes, view the new proofs 3 weeks after that and be able to choose by November 1st. You may also sign up for one of the three days they will be at GHS in early September.

Question:  I cannot have my portrait taken at GHS by September 9th.  What should I do?

Answer: You may have it taken at their studio between September 10th and October 1st but there will not be time for any retakes. 

Question: May I have my senior portrait taken when the underclassmen have theirs taken at GHS in September?

Answer: Unfortunately no. They use different lightning and backgrounds.  

Question: May I submit my own photo to be used for the yearbook.

Answer: No

Question: If I have my picture re-taken, may I still select one from my original sitting?

Answer: Yes.  All your portraits will be available in your photo gallery and you may select from any of them. 

Question: What if I miss having my picture taken by mid-October and don't have a picture to select by Nov. 1? Can I still be in the yearbook?  Will they use last year's picture?

Answer: Unfortunately, this means you will not have a picture in the yearbook. 

Question: What is the dress code?

Answer: Dress is business casual. The photographers have button down shirts, ties, jackets and the drape if students would like to borrow. 

Question: May I have the “one pose” no cost picture taken at the studio?

Answer: No.  Those are offered on select dates at GHS.
